Ride For Ceylon

Ride For Ceylon offers a unique blend of cycling and charitable giving. This England based club combines a passion for road riding with a commitment to supporting causes in Sri Lanka. It presents an opportunity to enjoy the sport while making a tangible difference.

The club organises road rides and social events. A key activity is the annual Colombo to Manipay, Jaffna cycle ride in Sri Lanka. This 475 kilometre ride, completed over four days, supports Friends of Manipay Hospital. Participants contribute to cover internal travel, accommodation and meals.

Participants in the Sri Lanka ride also raise a minimum amount for the renovation and maintenance of the Green Memorial Hospital in Manipay. Alternative good causes in Sri Lanka can be nominated with prior approval. The club also organises smaller rides across the globe.
